Welcome To The Week 3 Life Coaching Tasks
You should now have a clear mind on what health and fitness goals you want to achieve and why you want to achieve them. You should also now be starting to get into the coaching tasks and realising their importance in helping you achieve your dream body.
Now we are going to start looking at your whole life. After all, you want to look better and feel better so you are happy, and to be truly happy there are other aspects of your life that need addressing not just your body. By the end of the 8 week programme I want you to not only have your dream body or be well on the way to achieving it, I want you to be well on your way to creating your dream life too.
Before you go creating your dream life you need to have an end goal in mind. All goals need an end destination otherwise there is no purpose or urgency to make it happen. The first task this week 'Your Funeral' is to get you thinking with the end in mind. It is to get you thinking about what you want to be remembered for at the end of your life. Once you know what you want to be remembered for and what your purpose is in life then you can put strategies in place to make it happen. It is far easier and more compelling to create a dream life around your life’s purpose then it is just to create a dream life.
For example without finding your purpose and how you want to be remembered you might think your dream life might be sitting on a beach somewhere hot getting drunk everyday and eating good food, however, by finding your purpose and how you want to be remembered your dream life might be setting up a charity to help millions of people or it might be as simple as being an amazing parent and giving your child the best life possible. Yes it is good to get drunk in a hot country but is this really your dream? It may be a dream holiday but it’s not going to leave a legacy behind long after you have gone.
I want you to take your time with this task as it really can shape the rest of your life. I want you to think deeply about your life’s purpose and what you want to be remembered for. I don’t want you to write down what other people expect of you, I want you to write down what you are inspired to be remembered for no matter how big and crazy it may sound. If it is something you really want then together we can make it become a reality in the following tasks. This task should be a fun task and not a depressing task as it is your chance to use your imagination to begin creating your dream life through finding your purpose in life and what you want to be remembered for.
The second task this week Inspirational Quotes is to help keep you inspired along your journey. Even the most inspirational people struggle at times for motivation and this task is designed to give you a little help with motivation and inspiration when you need it most. Make sure you take your time to search for inspirational quotes which resonate with you and really motivate you. Don’t just choose any quotes, actually take the time to find ones which work for you. You can use these quotes daily to help motivate and inspire you or you can use them when you are struggling and need a motivation boost. This really is a great strategy for keeping you motivated and inspired on your journey especially during the tough times.
